Data Processor Agreements

During this workshop participants will be able to get detailed knowledge on the DPA, and are able to review the elaborate data processing agreements or renegotiate existing ones to include the GDPR requirements between The data controller and data processor.

We go thru each of the 12 key contents of all Data Processor Agreements;

During the two workshops, participants will prepare a Data Processor Agreement with the provided template with data and information. During the second workshop participants will fill in the separate schedules that must be attached to the Processor Agreement. Annex A: Specification of the Processing of Personal Data. Annex B: Security Measures. Annex C: Information that must be provided in the event of a Personal Data Breach.

Data Transfers

Under Article 44 of the GDPR transfers of personal data to third countries (or to international organisations) may take place on condition that the controller or processor complies with the data transfer restrictions that are set out in the GDPR. During this workshop we go thru the provisions that apply both to controllers and processors under the current legal framework.

We go thru the mandates related to adequacy decisions, legal derogations, adequate safeguards, model clauses, Binding Corporate Rules, and more.

During the two workshops, participants will prepare two sets of standard contractual clauses for transfers from data controllers to data controllers established outside the EEA and one set for the transfer to processors established outside the EEA. During the second workshop participants will fill in the data transfer schedules between During the two workshops, participants will prepare Controller to Controller and Controllers to Processors transfers.
